A Novel Nonthermal Energy Source for Surgical Epicardial Atrial Ablation: Irreversible Electroporation

Conclusions. We propose a new modality to perform atrial ablations, which holds the potential of providing very swift, precise, and complete transmurality with no local heating effects.
